Matthew's most recent show Virtuoso is currently playing in repertory at The Musical Theater in Poznan in Poland. The C-Word , a song cycle inspired by interviews with women facing breast cancer is part of the repertory of The Roxxy Ballet. Matthew has also written the book and lyrics for the new musical comedies Flambé Dreams (NYMF 2012) and Bonnets & Bling! (West Chester University). Musical shorts include The Rubberers (WCU, Byrdcliffe Arts, Delaware Arts Festival, Off Broadway) and Unleashed (York Theater Co 4@15). Work for family audiences includes Ever Happily After (NYMF 2013, Center Stage, Maltz Jupiter), Fancy Nancy's Splendiferous Christmas (Off Broadway, National Tour, Regional) and Twinkle's Fairy Pet Day (Off Broadway and Tour). Cabaret acts include Songs for the Dysfunctional. Matthew was the winner of the Paderewski Musical Competition resulting in a grant from the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (2017). He has received a grant New Music USA (2017), an Honorable Mention for Excellence in Lyric Writing at The New York Musical Theatre Festival (2012), is an Anna Sosenko Trust Recipient (2012), and a Jerry Boch Award finalist (2011). Matthew an alumnus of The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop and a member of the Dramatist Guild.
